Websas is a middle-ware that exists between the application and the user browser. Websas provides the user with a method which communicates with the actual application on the server. It transfers data and programs from the user browser to the application on the server and also returns the results to the client.

Software Requirements
Websas is developed with SAS software.  It therefore requires the minimum of the following software.

• Base SAS software.
• Microsoft Internet Explorer version 7.0
• or Mozilla Firefox version 2.0

The software is available for version 8.x and above but it is recommended that 8.2 be used.
