Verifying Definition

Verify with PROC CDISC
PROC CDISC performs a series of verification tests against the data. It produces a series of messages in the LOG which summarizes deviations from what it finds to be different from CDISC standards.  Definedoc executes PROC CDISC against your data through the "Verify" button from the main screen.  This will generate a report on all the datasets if none is selected.  A sample verification is shown here:

The Errors/Warnings messages that appear in the log appear on specified line numbers which are then identified by the leading number in square brackets.  The hyperlink to the "Full Log" will display the entire SAS log with these error messages included.  This summarization is intended to quickly access how compliant your data is.
