CDISC Builderâ„¢  2.1 - Installation Test Scripts - % cdisc
The following documentation contains test scripts and expected results for validating the CDISC Builder Cdisc tool.  Do the following to verify proper installation:
  • The following instructions are accomplished through Windows Explorer.
  • Perform each test by performing the steps specified by the instructions.  
  • Evaluate the results of each step by comparing them with results described in the Documentation column.

cdiscn1.sas Verify study day variable of case #6 where variable is CDISC variable and variable is not CDISC variable. Instructions 1  
cdiscn2.sas Verify abbreviations of case #12 where variable is CDISC variable and variable is not CDISC variable. Instructions 2
cdiscn3.sas Verify dataset labels and variable labels of case #14 where variable is CDISC variable and variable is not CDISC variable. Instructions 3

Instructions 1
The following instructions are accomplished through Windows Explorer.

  1. Batch submit the program cdiscn1.sas.

  2. Review the log to verify that there is no error message

  3. Open the cdiscn1.html file.

  4. Verify that "dmdy1" variable has case 6 but "dmdy" variable does not have.

Notes:

  • "dmdy" is the CDISC variable.

  • "dmdy1" is not the CDISC variable.

Instructions 2
The following instructions are accomplished through Windows Explorer.

  1. Batch submit the program cdiscn2.sas.

  2. Review the log to verify that there is no error message

  3. Open the cdiscn2.html file.

  4. Verify that "var1" variable has case 12 but "invid" variable does not have.

Notes:

  • "invid" is the CDISC variable.

  • "var1" is not the CDISC variable.

Instructions 3
The following instructions are accomplished through Windows Explorer.

  1. Batch submit the program cdiscn3.sas.

  2. Review the log to verify that there is no error message

  3. Open the cdiscn3.html file.

  4. Verify that "var2" variable has case 14 but "age" variable does not have.

Notes:

  • "age" is the CDISC variable.

  • "var2" is not the CDISC variable.
