Selecting Data
Before any of the CIDSC builder tools can be performed, the data must
be selected to be processed. The system will automatically assign a
libname (curlib) to the selected path. All the data in the selected
path will be displayed for selection.

Multiple
datasets can be selected through the use of the key combination with
the Shift or Control keys. The Select All button will also
toggle between selecting all the data or none. |
Selecting Tasks
After the data has been selected, the user needs to select the task
that is going to be performed upon the selected data. The tasks
include:
- CDISC - Verify SAS datasets
against CDISC standards
- COMMENT - Generate comment
domain dataset as part of the SDTM of CDISC
- REPORT - Generate a PROC
CONTENTS and PROC PRINT, audit trail and traceability reports
- DIFFTEST - Verify differences
among SAS datasets
- FINDREL - Find variables that
are potential related records
- FMTSUM - Creates a summary
report of all formats used with variables in specified data sets
- METADATA - Create and manage
metadata database with search
- MATCHVAR - Match variable names
and labels if they are similar
- RELREC - Generate CDISC
Relating Groups of Records in Separate Domain Datasets
- SD2XPT - Creates a SAS
transport file from SAS datasets
- SUPPQUAL - Generate CDISC
Supplemental Qualifiers and their association to parent domain
Only one task can be selected at
once. This will navigate the user to the selected screen for the
specified tasks. Upon completion of the selected task, you can then
navigate back to the main screen to select a different task to be
performed.
Accessing Help
Most screens within CDISC Builder contain context sensitive help
information. This can be accessed by pressing the F1 key. This
will bring up the help information pertaining to the current active
screen.
