Configuration Overview
Each iPhone Applications has it own icon displayed on the iPhone
home screens allowing the user to easily start the
application by pressing on the corresponding icon. However,
all the application settings and configuration options are
gathered together its own application which is under the
"Settings" icon as seen in this example home screen.
The configuration options are usually settings that you would
set seldom. Once configured, you can let be set and each
time you start the selected applications, these configurations
settings would take affect.
Applying Settings
From the list of settings within the iPhone, if you scroll
down near the bottom, application specific settings are listed for
each application.
You can select the BI Flash and set
options specifically to this application. These include things
such as account information or default options. The
following configuration option is is set for BI Flash.
- SAS Host Server - This is the server where the SAS
data is stored and where the BI Flash server will deliver the
information to the iPhone client.
- Default Search - These are default files which
the search will be applied to.
- Data Viewer - These are default column viewer options
for the data viewer.
All of these configuration parameter settings are listed all on
one screen which you can vertically scroll with a swipe.
